God Is Able!

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at

work within us,..." (Ephesians 3:20 ESV).

     God is a God of provision! He has already provided all that we needy sinners stand in need of in order to have a relationship with Him. All that He requires of us He has provided in Jesus! In Jesus we find all that we could ever need or want!

God Is Good

     Today I want to share just a little of what is rumbling round in my heart. One tiny something in the midst of many desires and dreams.

     First of all I confess that my God and Father has been so good to me! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! He has brought me into a relationship with Himself which continues to rock my world transforming my life, bringing me more completely into all He has for me here and now.

     He has blessed me with a, better than I deserve, helper comparable to me. This last sentence is so much of an understatement. When I think of my wife and the amazing woman that she is I sometimes cry, shout, and always lift my heart toward heaven and thank my Father for such a wonderful gift!!

     He has blessed me with three glorious children, one daughter-in-law and two beautiful grand-babies!

     Now to the point of my post... if you've read the previous post If Not Click Here you know that God has given the funds to purchase the last of the Bibles that were needed for the members of Bethel Revival Temple Church of Morogoro, TZ. For this my heart is filled with great joy!! Once these Bibles are purchased we will have been able to bless more than 840 believers with their very own complete Bible in their mother tongue!! What a blessing for me to be a part of this.

     I would like for you to pray with me, that my Father show me the way, and lead me to the next Bible project. I have received an invitation to purchase Bibles for another church in Tanzania but I'm not familiar with the church or her pastor and I want to be faithful to God's call and faithful with the funds He provides. So, if you would pray that He give me wisdom and insight as to the next step I need to take regarding this project of...

Buying Bibles, Blessing Believers!

REJOICE WITH ME!!!!!

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

14 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.(Philippians 4 NKJV)

     This entire passage is packed with glorious truth, but the phrase I want to bring to your mind is "...things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God."

     I am so very excited to be writing this post today!! I want you to know that our God and Father hears and answers prayer! Our God reigns!! Forgive me for all the exclamations!! I just want to shout to the high heavens.

     I received a text from Pastor Wade yesterday informing me that we had received $5,000 to purchase the remaining Bibles!!!! Now, maybe you can feel my excitement. I will not go into all the details, but my wife and I have been asking God for exactly that amount for these much needed Bibles.

     I have spoken to the donors to let them know how much we appreciate this wonderful investment they have made in the Kingdom of God and they have asked to remain anonymous. So, per their wishes I will not reveal this information. But, I do ask that you pray for the donors and thank God for them and ask Father to multiply the seed they have sown one-hundred fold!! This is my prayer because I believe that when we give, God gives us more so we can give more. 

     PRAISE THE LORD with me!!! The monies will be wired to Bethel Revival Temple Assembly of God Church of Morogoro, Tanzania next week. Bibles will be purchased and given to the remaining church members who do not own a Bible. What a wonderful Christmas present they will be receiving this Christmas!!!
